Meeting to do Presentation/Reflective Report

Myself, Ian and Jake are meeting this wednesday to start working, well finish the presenation for Group Work

I checked over the report and Ian seems to not have written a discussion, Will have to ask him why on wednesday , Hes going to have to explain his results in the presentation anyway!

Mary cannot make it to the meeting as she is home all week, she has said she will do her bit and hopefully we can meet up before Easter

Reflective report is nearly drafted out/ Dissertation ...Alot to do really ....Time to finish it all

Presentation and finishing the report

Well we had our GCC presentation yesterdays, only got 65 and I am really disappointed tbh but anyway on with group work

Today I wrote the abstract and included my section to the project proposal. Jake section is also in there but Mary still has to do hers

I know Mary did not get the mark she wanted for her presentation so I am percieving this might effect her motivation to complete her group work?

Whos completeting the report and sending it to Paul is a bit up in the air in the moment.... I looks like I will have to take charge - Become the "Completer Finisher". It should have been sent today but nothing from Mary so cannot send it , I will ask Mary and try not to sound too demanding

Glad it is just the Reflerctive report and dissertation we have to focus on

Ian messaged everyone today about synthesising the report!  I have said I am happy to do any part but would prefer the rationale. I am also going to get those maps for the presentations done by the 31st, hoping they will look good!

I asked Jake today whether he had his MBTI test results and Belbin Scores, He didn't think he had done them so he said he would get them done by this week .... Hopefully he will as everyone will need them for there reflective reports

Team Meet up for Stats and more ...

Well everyone in the group finally all  managed too meet today at 10. We made alot of progress and Jake helped me alot by forwarding on Pauls email explanation of the F Test. It seems differences between education levels is not statistically difference.  So we wrote up our own small discussion of the results (100-200 word) + Raw data.

Ian seemed to find doing the statistics hard. I helped Ian and jake install the Anova package on excel and tried to help Ian do his statistics on gender but to be honest I did not know what to do either. I told Ian to email Paul to find out which stats test to do and Paul sent an email back saying to do T test.

Ian agreed to put the whole thing together, all we have to do is email him our discussion sections!

I've been really annoyed today though, Tony is striking on thursday when we were meant to have our global environmental change presentations. I really wanted it out the way....

Re format the reflective journal after seeing the amazing one which got 80!!

Anova - The Test to do!!

Well finally I got round to asking Paul which statistical test to use on the results as I was utterly confused. He suggested Anova to use on education as it can see statistical differences between two of more variables.

I am in a way ashamed I could not figure it out for myself but I have so much other work on at the moment It was alot easier to just go and ask rather spending a day or so looking at the book I got out of the library.

We are meeting as a group this thursday after our presentations for tony to write up the whole project report! I have thought of a good idea for the presentation though .... Use transparent circles with the r = average distance location guesses , to get a rough idea and compare average distance guesses for various location

Still So Ill - Work Hasn't Progressed Much

Well I was extremely Ill over the weekend - So So Annoying and Still very Ill now - Ok but hopefully will be better tomorrow

Presentation has in a way been completed ....The structure I want for it is right and the presentation style , Just have to finish it off now by Thursday and the talk to go with it (Depending on when the presentation is!) - otherwise I can extend that deadline another week

Dissertation - Nothing really
Carbon Footprint- Nothing should really go over it tonight and see where I can make improvements- Kinda want to hand it though and just be done with it!

I thought a very good idea today for our group work though - Need to tell other group members. Where we have the overall average distance for a location, add a coloured but transparent radius circle around it. Think it will be a neat way to display findings in our presentation!

Well - OK JAKE NOT IN AGAIN? AND FEELING SO ILL!

Well another week and yet another week when Jake has not turned up to our group meeting!! Mary and Ian are both pissed of now aswell - Mary sent a text to Jake stating we would send him the minutes and that we would be writing up the report on in two weeks time .... he replied along the lines of " Im not sure if I am going to be able to make it but I will try and get the day off work, Cheers." .... Mabye I am misenterprating the sms text but it sounded rather blunt to say the least!!!

In addition I am feeling really really ill, throat is killing and feeling sick. Just like before it is exactly the wrong time to get Ill!!! .... I want to get the presentation completed by Sunday and the Carbon Footprint report properly done .... So I will report on Sunday how that goes

On a positive note haven't had any bad anxiety lately :) ...... But wanting to do work is causing conflict with housemates. Housemates want to go out all the time and I have to keep refusing and it seems to be causing tension .... I must focus though.... ITS ONLY ANOTHER 6 WEEKS OF MY LIFE AND THEN ALL WORK WILL BE DONE :) ..... I have to put my best effort to it!!
